Bull's Blood are grown for their midnight purple/plum colored leaves with scarlet midribs, which add vibrant color and texture to salads. An heirloom variety named for a city on Italy's Adriatic coast, Chioggia's dark ruby red skin covers a bi-colored interior of red and white alternating rings of color.
