| Jackson Wonder Lima Bean (OG) ~ $
2.95
| | This classic lima bean was introduced commercially by a seed company in Philadelphia in 1888. It is so-called because of its dwarf bush habit (limas had traditionally been pole beans) and its prolific production. Unlike most lima beans which are lime green, Jackson Wonder beans are scarlet with maroon speckles and have a wonderful meaty quality; they can be eaten fresh or cooked like a shelling bean. The plants grow 12-18” tall and are self-supporting if grown close together. It is best suited to growing in the southern half of the US where summer evenings are warm. 75 days.
